Unable to join the RAF, Ken spent most of his working career in the Motor Industry with Fiat, BMW and Ferrari - the latter two at Director level, specialising in logistics and systems development. Ken retired from the industry in 2004.
Ken learned to fly in 1970 at the Cambridge Flying Group (CFG) on Tiger Moths, which confirmed his desire to be more involved in flying. From then he has flown several types of vintage aircraft, culminating in his purchase of Tiger Moth G-ANLD in 1989 which he still flies regularly from White Waltham. Ken has been a Member of the HAA since 1998.
Other memberships include CFG, DH Moth Club and the West London Aero Club. Ken is a Liveryman of the Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators as well as a Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry.
