Owned by Bae Systems and operated from Old Warden, this is the civil version of the Anson. The prototype civil version first flew in 1936 in the hands of Avro test pilot Bill Thorn. Air Atlantique operate an Anson as part of their Historic Flight.

The prototype Meteor NFII first flew in 1949. Design work was undertaken by Armstrong Whitworth and all night fighter variants were built at Baginton (Coventry).
A total of 358 NFII's were built, powered by Derwent 8 engines and fitted with AI MKI0 radar.
