Click here to view large photo Spitfire Mk XVI Code CR-S
This Mk XVI is the type flown by 74 Sqn RAF after D- Day and is painted in the colour scheme of the day. The Code CR-S is that of it’s current pilot Cliff Spink, and would have been 4D-V for 74 but the owner (Cliff’s boss) insisted it should be CR-S – honest says Cliff!!
